Snyman de Jager Incorporated is an established and highly respected Pretoria based legal firm established during 1938.

We are on the Panel of Attorneys for:

and in addition, amongst our client rank some of the larger corporations and corporate institutions including the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. The firm presently consists of a professional team of six partners, each assisted by legal secretaries and administrative personnel.

Directors:

	Corrie de Jager Centurion - Conveyancing Corrie was admitted as an attorney, notary and conveyancer in 1975. He specializes in commercial, corporate and property law, as well as estate planning and trusts. He has extensive experience in township development and all branches of conveyancing.

	Eddie Smit Centurion - Conveyancing Eddie completed his BCOM law degree in 1992 at the university of Pretoria and in 1994 completed his LLB degree also at the university of Pretoria. During 2001 he completed his MBL at the University of South Africa. Eddie is primarily involved with commercial law that include among others: Registration of transfers of property (where he treats and manages each transaction as a project) Registration of bonds for a variety of financial institutions Advises and registration of sectional titles, subdivisions, and other development issues regarding property. Drafting of a variety of commercial contracts Advise regarding a variety of law related topics. Planning of estates including testaments, trusts and other related matters Drafting and registration of Companies and closed corporations. Eddie is a person that understands people and their needs and would do anything in his power to satisfy clients. He believes in building and maintaining long-term relationships with agencies and financial institutions.

	Johan Lombard Centurion - Litigation Johan joined the company approximately 18 years ago and was appointed as a partner shortly after the completion of his articles. Johan is currently involved in all areas of litigation including High-, Magistrates-, and labour court litigation. Johan manages the company's collection department and is currently serving as a legal assessor for the Health Professional Council of South Africa.

	Johan Muller Menlyn - Conveyancing Johan heads our Menlyn office and specializes in conveyancing and commercial law; he obtained his BLC degree at the university of Pretoria in 1992 followed by his LLB degree in 1994. He furthered his studies at the Rand Afrikaans University to obtain his masters degree (LLM) in corporate law in 2000. He is currently busy with his Doctorate in corporate law (LLD) at the university of South Africa. Johan is admitted as an attorney, conveyancer and notary public and was appointed in 2003 as the PROPERTY ASSOCIATION'S" Young Lion" of the year for his contribution to the real estate industry.

	Anton Hamman Pretoria - Litigation Anton completed his B-proc degree in 1990 and commenced his article in the same year at Snyman De Jager. In 1992 he was admitted as an attorney and stayed on at Snyman De Jager where he was appointed as a partner in March 1994. In 1996 he was granted right of appearance in the Supreme Court. He has been serving as a commissioner of the small claims court since 1999 and during June 2000 he was appointed as an Arbiter by AFSA (Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa). He is involved in the litigation department where he specializes in general Supreme Court and magistrates court litigation, collection, Divorces, Water law, Third party claims and insurance law. Among others Anton's clients are ABSA Bank, First National Bank, Barlow Motors, Kersaf Investments as well as a variety of schools, hospitals, doctors and corporate institutions.

	Gabriel Mashishi Centurion - Litigation Gabriel completed his LLB degree in 2001 at the University of Pretoria and completed the School for Legal Practice course at the Pretoria Practical Legal Training in the same year. He was admitted as an attorney in March 2004 and was appointed as a partner in July 2005. He specializes in general Civil Litigation in the High Court and Magistrate Court.
